SEC Adds Flexibility to the Proxy Process
March 1, 2010
Last week, the SEC amended Rule 14a-16 under the Securities Exchange Act, which pertains to Internet availability of proxy materials. The amended Rule provides registrants and other soliciting persons with more flexibility when sending out notices under the rule. The amendments take effect on March 29, 2010.
