As the Senate moves toward a vote on financial regulatory reform, private fund managers should be aware of the key issues that may affect them.

Congress is considering financial regulatory reform proposals that address a broad range of issues, including consumer protection, ratings agencies, systemic risk, executive compensation, private fund adviser registration, the “Volcker Rule,” prudential risk regulation and derivatives.
