Adam C. Harris is a partner in the New York office, where his practice covers corporate restructurings, workouts and creditors' rights litigation. Adam's practice has a particular focus on the representation of investment funds and financial institutions in distressed situations, including both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions by third-party investors or exiting creditors through "credit bid" or similar strategies. In addition to representing creditors and acquirors in distressed situations, Adam has also represented Chapter 11 debtors, as well as portfolio companies in out-of-court exchange offers, debt repurchases and other capital restructurings.
Adam, who is listed in both Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America, received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University School of Law, in 1986, and his B.A. from Emory University in 1982.
