SRZ Partner Stephanie Breslow Named in The Hedge Fund Journal’s ‘50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds’ Survey

Stephanie R. Breslow, a partner in the New York office, vice-chair of the Investment Management Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, is one of the “50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds,” according to a survey published by The Hedge Fund Journal in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers. The survey was based on interviews with industry experts, including leading portfolio managers, prime brokers, funds of funds managers, investors and various service providers, based in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Stephanie's practice includes investment management, partnerships and securities, with a focus on the formation of liquid-securities funds and private equity funds, as well as providing regulatory advice to broker-dealers and investment managers. She also represents fund sponsors and institutional investors in connection with seed-capital investments in fund managers and acquisitions of interests in investment-management businesses, as well as regularly representing fund of funds and other institutional investors with review of their investments. She is co-author of Private Equity Funds: Formation and Operation (Practicing Law Institute, 2009).
Recently elected Secretary of the Investment Funds Committee of the International Bar Association, Stephanie is a founding member and former chair of the Private Investment Fund Forum, a former member of the Steering Committee of the Wall Street Fund Forum and a member of the Board of Directors of 100 Women in Hedge Funds.
