US Courts Usually Enforce Creditors’ Contract Rights

Lenders have been faring well in the US courts over the past year. Although they often had to appeal to get the right result, the appellate rulings have set the tone for how the lower courts treat creditors. The picture is not completely rosy, however. A few wrong decisions, also noted, are troubling.
