DC Circuit Vacates Hedge Fund Manager Registration Rule

Earlier this morning, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (the "Court") vacated the rule adopted in 2004 by the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission") that required many managers of hedge funds to register as investment advisers under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (the "Registration Rule").
