SRZ's Environmental and Insurance Practice Group has represented clients in a number of the country's most significant matters.

• Co-counsel to a major paper company in the only Clean Air Act ("CAA") - New Source Review Enforcement Action pending against a pulp paper mill. In an unrelated matter, we argued before the Indiana Supreme Court in the only pending insurance coverage lawsuit where EPA's enforcement of the CAA - New Source Review regulations against a utility (Cinergy now Duke Energy), is at issue.
  
• Represented a diverse group of legislators and private citizens in a complaint challenging New York City's  plans to build a municipal waste transfer station in the East River at East 96th Street.
  
• Counseled investors and lenders on numerous transactions involving the acquisition of various industries including: bus manufacturing, foundries, auto parts, aviation, technology, gas stations, tools, commercial and multifamily real estate and brownfields.  

SRZ's insurance practice also counseled clients on a variety of insurance issues.

• Assisted a number of investment management clients in a review of their insurance coverage and advised them on trends in the law and suggestions for improving their coverage.  
  
• Counseled and represented a major insurance company on a portfolio of issues with a large publicly traded engineering company for claims arising under their professional errors and omissions coverage.
