NFL Goes Back to Basics to Win ‘Clarett’ on Extra Point

In 2003, former Ohio State University football star Maurice Clarett  commenced a lawsuit against the National Football League (NFL) challenging the eligibility requirements for the NFL draft. The NFL had denied Mr. Clarett entry into the 2003 draft in accordance with the rule that bars players who have not completed three seasons of college football or are not three years removed from high school graduation.
