Wind vs. Water: Insurance Coverage for Storm Damage

The devastation Hurricanes Katrina and Rita inflicted this hurricane season have made it the worst in recent history. Although the Northeast is not subject to the same hurricane risk as Florida and the Gulf Coast, Nor’easters, which cause damage of the same type, if not usually of the same scale, are a relatively common occurrence.
