SRZ Announces the Election of Five Special Counsel

Schulte Roth & Zabel is pleased to announce the appointment of five attorneys to special counsel.
Jennifer M. Dunn, a special counsel in the Investment Management Group, focuses her practice on advising hedge funds, private equity funds, hybrid funds, funds of funds and investment advisers in connection with their structuring, formation and ongoing operational needs, general securities laws matters, and regulatory and compliance issues. She received her J.D., as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, from Columbia Law School in 2002, and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998.
Marc B. Friess, a special counsel in the Finance Group, focuses his practice on commercial and corporate finance transactions and in the representation of hedge funds, private equity funds, commercial finance companies and investment banks in a wide range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2001; and his B.A., cum laude, from Franklin and Marshall College in 1998.
Christopher S. Harrison, a special counsel in the Business Transactions Group, concentrates his practice on hedge fund M&A, private equity transactions, and other domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He received his J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law in 2000, and his B.A. from Friedrich-Schiller Universität in 1995.
Stuart M. Reisman, a special counsel in the Business Transactions Group, practices in a variety of M&A and other transactional areas, focusing on investment manager restructuring and M&A and private equity transactions. Stuart also counsels clients on general corporate matters. He received his J.D. from George Washington University in 2000, and his B.A. from Emory University in 1996.
Neil C. Rifkind, a special counsel in the Business Transactions Group, focuses his practice on private equity transactions, public and private mergers, acquisitions divestitures, restructurings, special committee representations, debt and equity tender offers, securities offerings, and general corporate representations. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University in 1998, and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Chicago in 1989.
The new special counsel are resident in the New York Office.
