SRZ represented Grand Cypress Florida LP (GCF) in connection with a long-term lease to H.E. Grand Cypress LLC, a subsidiary of Global Hyatt Corp., on the Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla. This complex lease gave Hyatt the option to purchase different portions of the resort at various times. We also represented GCF in connection with a $200 million-plus mortgage financing provided to it by Wachovia Bank NA, secured by GCF’s interest in the premises. We later represented GCF in connection with the sale of a portion of the leased premises to H.E. Grand Cypress pursuant to one of the aforementioned purchase options.
