Karen S. Park is an associate in the Business Reorganization group in the New York office where she represents private equity firms, investment funds and financial institutions as investors and exiting creditors in distressed acquisitions and corporate restructurings. Karen advises clients on loan-to-own strategies, financial and operational restructuring, distressed asset sales, and DIP and exit financings in Chapter 11 cases. Her experience includes financial investments, real estate, gaming, and the automotive, natural resource and manufacturing sectors. A number of Karen’s cases have also involved a cross-border aspect.
Karen received her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and is admitted to the bars in New York and Ontario, Canada.
