SRZ Partner Michael Cook Honored by UJA-Federation

Michael L. Cook, a partner in the Business Reorganization group, received this year’s Professor Lawrence P. King Award. The UJA-Federation of New York’s Lawyers Division honored his outstanding achievements in the field of bankruptcy law at The Bankruptcy & Reorganization Group 2010 Luncheon on May 3.

Michael devotes his practice to corporate restructuring, workouts and creditors’ rights litigation. His clients include lenders, acquirers, reorganization trustees, creditors’ committees, troubled companies, professional firms and other parties.

He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, The Legal 500 United States, The K&A Restructuring Register (a peer-group listing of the top 67 attorneys who practice in restructuring, reorganization, insolvency and bankruptcy), PLC Cross-border Restructuring and Insolvency Handbook, New York Super Lawyers and Who’s Who in American Law. Michael chairs the Board of Regents of the American College of Bankruptcy and is a member of the Practising Law Institute Bankruptcy Law Advisory Committee.
