New .EU Domain Name

Starting December 7, 2005, the .EU top level domain ("TLD") will be available to applicants who have their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European Community ("EC"); organizations established within the EC; and natural persons resident within the EC. As with any process that allocates new Internet addresses, the .EU launch poses a risk that third parties may obtain registrations for domain names that correspond to your trademarks.
