New Form LM-10 Advisory

On July 15, 2005, the U.S. Department of Labor ("DOL") released an advisory pertaining to prospective Form LM-10 (Employer Report) guidance. The advisory states that the DOL will issue guidance on Form LM-10 in the near future that will assist employers in understanding reporting and record keeping requirements.  As expected, the DOL notes that its future Form LM-10 guidance will include a grace period for 2004 transactions to encourage voluntary reporting, similar to the approach released for Form LM-30 (Union Officer and Employee Report).
