Highlights and Analysis of PWG Asset Managers' Committee Report on Hedge Fund Best Practices

On April 15, the Asset Managers’ Committee of the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets (“PWG”) presented its report “Best Practices for the Hedge Fund Industry” (the “AMC Report”) to the PWG. The AMC Report calls upon the hedge fund industry to recognize, as stated by its Chair, Eric Mindich, that it “has a crucial responsibility to adopt strong business practices that reflect both its growth and the important role it plays in global financial markets.”
