SRZ Deal Awarded 2010 Deal of the Year by Marine Money International

SRZ represented American Petroleum Tankers in a high-yield debt offering and related corporate restructuring that won Marine Money’s 2010 Deal of the Year Award. The restructuring, which raised $285 million by issuing first priority senior secured notes, limits potential liabilities for individual vessels and allows for increased business flexibility. The transaction was selected above global competitors in the U.S. Public Debt category for its “creativity, execution and contribution to the industry.” Awards will be presented during Marine Money Week in New York, June 21-23.
