  • $3.26 billion initial public offering for Aozora Bank Ltd., a leading Japanese bank with dual listings on the Tokyo and New York Stock Exchanges
  • $55 million in underwritten primary and secondary offerings for Cache Inc., a nationwide, mall-based specialty retailer of lifestyle sportswear and dresses for the style-conscious woman
  • $200 million high-yield debt offering for Baker & Taylor Acquisitions Corp., a leading distributor of books and entertainment products and provider of value-added services to the institutional and retail markets
  • $13.2 million private placement by Electro-Optical Sciences Inc. of its common stock and warrants. SRZ represented Jefferies & Company Inc. as placement agent. Electro-Optical, a NASDAQ Capital Markets firm, is a medical device company focused on the development of a non-invasive instrument to assist in the early detection of melanoma
  • $100 million high-yield "private for life" debt offering for AmeriCast Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of large steel and iron castings
  • $320 million Rule 144A high-yield debt offering by DynCorp International LLC, a leading provider of defense and national security services to numerous U.S. government agencies, in which Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Bear, Stearns & Co. acted as initial purchasers 
  • $137 million IPO for BlueLinx Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BXC), the largest distributor of building products in the United States, in which Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. acted as lead underwriters 
  • $125 million Rule 144A high-yield debt offering by The Wornick Company, the leading supplier of food rations to the U. S. military, in which Jefferies & Company acted as initial purchaser
  • $240 million Rule 144A high-yield debt in two offerings for Advanced Accessory Systems LLC, a leading manufacturer of automotive roof racks and towing systems in North America and Europe, in which Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Credit Suisse First Boston and Bear, Stearns & Co. acted as initial purchasers 
  • $150 million Rule 144A high-yield debt offering for Ames True Temper Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of non-powered garden equipment, in which Banc of America Securities and Wachovia Securities acted as initial purchasers 
  • $140 million IPO for Teleglobe International Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: TLGB), a provider of international voice, data, Internet and mobile roaming services, in connection with its stock-for-stock acquisition of ITXC Corp. 9.0% senior notes due 2012, in the aggregate original principal amount of $250 million, co-issued by Horizon Lines Holding Corp. and a wholly owned subsidiary. Horizon Lines Holdings Corp. is a subsidiary of Horizon Lines, Inc., a portfolio company of Castle Harlan Partners IV LP
  • 11% senior discount notes due 2013, in the aggregate principal amount at maturity of $160 million, issued by H-Lines Finance Holdings Corp. The issuer is a subsidiary of Horizon Lines Holdings Corp.
