The broad client base of the Investment Management group includes private equity and venture capital funds, with a broad range of strategies, including funds which focus on middle market, leveraged buyouts, crossover, mezzanine, distressed investing and industry-specific funds, including technology, media, telecommunications, biotechnology, energy, financial services, real estate and health care funds, as well as SBICs and business development companies.
The Group's services to these funds in the formation process are enhanced by its representation of fund-of-funds and of institutional investors for whom we review private equity fund investments, which insures that the Group maintains it preeminence on the cutting edge of market practice.
The firm's Business Transactions Group represents our private equity investment fund clients, as well as institutional, hedge fund and other investors, in making, monitoring and realizing private equity investments. These include founder, angel and early-through-late stage venture investments, IPO and earlier stage bridge fundings, mezzanine financings, leveraged buyouts and PIPE transactions.
