William D. Zabel Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from The American Lawyer for Professional and Public Interest Accomplishments

The American Lawyer – the nation's leading magazine focusing on the business of law – has honored William D. Zabel with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his public interest and professional achievements. Since cofounding Schulte Roth & Zabel in 1969, Mr. Zabel has distinguished himself as one of the country’s foremost experts in trusts and estates law and as a skilled negotiator of high-profile divorce cases. At the same time, he has become one of the nation's most respected champions of human rights and civil liberties. Mr. Zabel was honored at a gala dinner in New York City on October 25.
