Julian Wise Named ‘Financial Influencer’ by Real Estate Forum

Julian Wise, Schulte partner and co-chair of the Real Estate Group, was named to the Real Estate Forum’s “Financial Influencers” list for his work on the largest deals in commercial real estate. Julian’s clients include the most influential investors, lenders and developers in the real estate space. The publication highlighted recent notable deals, including Julian’s representation of: a lender funding a joint venture purchase of a long-term leasehold interest in several major resorts in Hawaii; a major national retail grocery chain in connection with the $2 billion financing of approximately 400 grocery stores and distribution centers in 14 states; and a major private equity firm in the acquisition, financing and disposition of the Innkeepers hotel portfolio.

Julian has a wide breadth of experience representing institutional and non-institutional investors in complex commercial real estate transactions, including asset and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, structuring and negotiation of joint venture and preferred equity agreements, senior and multi-tranched mezzanine financings, intercreditor agreements, co-lender and participation agreements, loan portfolio acquisitions and dispositions and restructurings.
