Schulte Roth & Zabel was recently featured in Turnarounds & Workouts' Successful Restructurings of 2022 list for its role in The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico’s Plan of Adjustment. The firm acted as counsel to Cantor-Katz Collateral Monitor LLC, the collateral monitor for GDB Debt Recovery Authority.

The plan was declared effective on March 15, 2022, bringing to a close a restructuring case under Title III of the Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act. The matter was the largest-ever U.S. public-sector restructuring case and one of the most complex restructuring cases of any kind.
