Campus Crest Communities Announces Settlement Agreement with Clinton Group

SRZ represented Clinton Group Inc. in its successful campaign at Campus Crest Communities Inc., a leading owner and manager of high-quality student housing properties. On May 4, 2015, Campus Crest announced an agreement with Clinton Group to appoint two new directors previously nominated by Clinton Group as well as a third, bringing the composition of the company’s board to eight directors, all of whom are independent. Campus Crest also agreed to change the composition of the transaction committee overseeing the strategic alternatives process and has appointed a new interim CEO and CFO.
