Global M&A Network Honors Schulte with ‘Deal of the Year’ Award

The $9.2-billion merger of Safeway Inc., the second largest traditional supermarket in the U.S., was named “America M&A Deal of the Year: $5 – $25 billion” at the M&A Atlas Awards: Global Major Markets, held in New York on Sept. 22, 2016. The M&A Atlas Awards were presented by Global M&A Network, which recognizes leaders in the mergers, acquisitions, turnaround and alternative investment communities. The annual awards honor excellence for executing game-changing M&A transactions from around the world.
