Origen Financial Sells Assets to GoldenTree Asset Management

SRZ represented GoldenTree Asset Management LP in its affiliate’s purchase of substantially all of the assets of real estate investment trustOrigen Financial Inc. The sale was announced Sept. 9, 2014 and closed on Jan. 20, 2015. One of the largest independent asset managers specializing in corporate and structured credit, GoldenTree manages approximately $21 billion in assets across a variety of absolute return, long-only and opportunistic strategies and has primary offices in New York and London.
