Schulte Advises on Successful Sale of Albert Fried & Company to TD Securities

Schulte represented New York-based broker-dealer Albert Fried & Company LLC in its sale to TD Securities, a subsidiary of Toronto-Dominion Bank and a leading provider of capital market products and services to corporations, governments and institutions. The transaction, which was announced on Sept. 13, 2016, closed on Jan. 3, 2017. The purchase of Albert Fried & Company’s services and capabilities includes self-clearing, securities lending and a prime brokerage technology platform in its final stages of development.
