Schulte Represents JANA Partners in Agreement with TreeHouse Foods Inc.

Schulte represented JANA Partners LLC in its agreement with TreeHouse Foods Inc. JANA owns approximately 7.4% of stock in TreeHouse Foods, a leading manufacturer and distributor of private label packaged foods and beverages in North America. As part of the agreement, TreeHouse Foods has appointed two independent directors to their Board of Directors and has entered into a corporate agreement with JANA Partners, including customary standstill and voting commitments.

The Schulte team advising JANA Partners was led by Ele Klein, Schulte partner, chair of the M&A and Securities Group and co-chair of the global Shareholder Activism Group. The team also included associates Brandon Gold, Danny Goldstein and Abraham Schwartz.
