Schulte Roth & Zabel Announces Addition of M&A Lawyer Gregory L. Kinzelman

Schulte Roth & Zabel announces the addition of Gregory L. Kinzelman as special counsel in the M&A and Securities Group. He is resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Kinzelman joins the firm from Hunton & Williams.
Mr. Kinzelman advises on mergers and acquisitions for private equity and hedge funds. He has extensive experience with public and private transactions, both domestic and international. Specifically, he advises on Hart-Scott-Rodino Act compliance for complex transactions, including on Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice regulations and procedures. In addition, he focuses his practice on pre-merger counseling and preparation of planning strategies for managing filings and second requests. Mr. Kinzelman also has significant experience successfully guiding foreign purchasers of U.S. businesses through the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) process.

I am thrilled to be working alongside these talented lawyers,” said Mr. Kinzelman, who served as Trial Attorney for the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition, in Washington, D.C. from 1994 to 1997. He holds an M.A. in economics and history from Oxford University, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
