Schulte Roth & Zabel Holds 7th Annual Shareholder Activism Conference

Schulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ) is hosting its 7th Annual Shareholder Activism Conference today in New York. The conference features influential activists, prominent investors and leading advisers involved in many of the most high-profile situations. They will discuss the opportunities, as well as the challenges for the players in the present-day marketplace. The event is by invitation only.
Marc Weingarten and Eleazer Klein, co-chairs of SRZ's global Shareholder Activism Group, and Michael E. Swartz, SRZ partner who heads the shareholder activism litigation handled by the firm, will moderate panels covering "Current Developments in Shareholder Activism," "'Occasional' Activists," "Mid-Cap Activism" and "Large-Cap Activism." Additionally, Brandon S. Gold, a member of the Shareholder Activism Group, will analyze the data and findings from the 2016 Shareholder Activism Insight report, published this week by SRZ in association with Activist Insight and FTI Consulting.
