SRZ 4th Annual Shareholder Activism Conference Featured on Bloomberg Television and The Street

SRZ hosted its 4th Annual Shareholder Activism Conference on October 3 in New York, featuring timely discussions on activist investing. SRZ partners Michael E. Swartz and Marc Weingarten and an impressive group of prominent activists, institutional investors, proxy solicitors and advisors discussed current developments, perspectives and trends in shareholder activism. Multiple media outlets, including Bloomberg Television and The Street, featured the conference and several of the activist panelists in video interviews.
In “Inside the Mind of an Activist Investor,” Gregory P. Taxin, President of Clinton Group Inc., talks with Stephanie Ruhle of Bloomberg Television about the rise of activist investors, whether it is better to target large or small companies and how different companies need different approaches. Gregory also spoke to The Street in “Companies Ripe for Activism.”
In “Value Investing In Tech,” Darren C. Wallis, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Active Value Investors LLC, talks to The Street about looking up and down the supply chain to find the right value investments in the technology sector.
In “UBS: Is Investment Bank a Risky Asset?,” Knight Vinke Vice Chairman David F. Trenchard discusses their activism with UBS with Bloomberg Television.
