SRZ Advises on Alternative Asset Management Investment Involving Scopia and Dyal

SRZ represented Scopia Fund Management LLC in its sale of a passive minority interest to Neuberger Berman Group-managed private equity fund Dyal Capital Partners. Under the terms of the deal, which was announced on Jan. 3, 2013, Scopia will retain complete control over its management, operations and investment process. Scopia is an alternative asset management firm with approximately $3.4 billion of assets in long/short equity strategies.
