SRZ Advises Veritas Capital on Fund V Formation

During 2014, the firm assisted Veritas Capital in the formation of The Veritas Capital Fund V, L.P., a private equity fund that invests in middle-market companies with government customers in a broad range of industries, including aerospace and defense, health care, technology, national security, communications, energy and education. The Fund was oversubscribed and raised $1.875 billion in a single closing held on Aug. 12, 2014. 

The SRZ team working on the Fund included investment management partner Phyllis A. Schwartz, tax partner Shlomo C. Twerski and special counsel Christine Harlow, and employment & employee benefits partner David M. Cohen.
