SRZ litigation partners Robert M. Abrahams and Robert J. Ward and former SRZ associate Caitlyn Slovacek authored two chapters for the 2014 edition of Getting the Deal Through – Dispute Resolution, an annual publication that provides international analysis in key areas of law and policy for corporate counsel, cross-border legal practitioners and business people. The guide is written in a question and answer format and covers 49 jurisdictions. In the “United States – New York” chapter, the SRZ attorneys discuss civil procedure, evidence and discovery, arbitration procedure and other topics. In the “United States – Federal Law” chapter, the attorneys answer questions on topics such as the structure of the United States federal court system, evidence and case management, appeals and alternative dispute resolution.
