M&A partner Robert Goldstein and business reorganization partner David J. Karp will present alongside guest speakers Brian C. Crumley, co-founder of Vortus Investments, and Josh Silverstein, senior E&P research analyst at Deutsche Bank, to explore “Distressed Energy: What Have We Learned So Far?”
Litigation partner Alan R. Glickman, business reorganization partner David M. Hillman and finance partner Ronald B. Risdon will cover “Restructurings After Marblegate and Meehancombs.”
“We are pleased to present our annual conference focusing on distressed investing, a sector seeing interesting fluctuations. Today, we will take an in-depth look at the industries that have recently taken a big hit and, in turn, the distressed investing opportunities emerging from those developments,” commented Mr. Harris.
“The speakers at today’s event are leading advisers and players in the industry. We are delighted to host a conference featuring these highly regarded thought leaders,” added Alan S. Waldenberg, chair of SRZ’s Executive Committee, who represents clients in M&A, restructurings and workouts, with a particular emphasis on transactions involving investment funds.
SRZ lawyers advise on all aspects of distressed investing, including out-of-court transactions, navigating bankruptcies (including bankruptcy acquisitions, debt restructurings, loan-to-own strategies and debtor-in-possession and exit financings), distressed real estate, capital structure analysis and trading issues.
