SRZ Partner Doug Mintz Quoted in Axios   

Schulte Roth & Zabel partner Doug Mintz was quoted in a recent Axios article titled "Corporate bankruptcies jumped in Q1." Doug spoke with reporter Kate Marino on the rise of bankruptcy filings by U.S. companies, but pointed out the critical caveat that the last two years are an extremely low baseline for comparison. 

Reflecting on the impact of Fed intervention in the markets in 2020 he stated, "Bankruptcy filings were as low as I've seen them in my 20-plus years. We're now back at a level that historically is pretty modest."
