Co-Investments Go Mainstream

Co-investments may have been conceived by the private equity industry, but they are now moving into the mainstream of the hedge fund industry. As many as 68% of hedge fund allocators with AUM above $5 billion are now allocating to co-investments. In this interview, partner and co-head of the Investment Management Group David Efron discusses the expansion of co-investments as well as their structures, terms, fees and potential conflicts.
