Schulte Roth & Zabel represented Nelson Peltz and Trian Fund Management L.P. in connection with their $1 billion investment and successful public campaign for change at The Walt Disney Company, which according to Fortune, captured the strategic outcome [Mr. Peltz] coveted without waging the brutal war he'd expected.

This was after Disney announced plans to, among other things, make certain operational and organizational changes, cut costs, and restore its dividend, capturing a substantial part of Mr. Peltz’s vision for the organization's creative function and operational initiatives, leading him to wish Bob Iger, the Disney management team and its board of directors the very best as they chart a new path forward.

The SRZ team was led by partners and co-chairs of SRZ’s global Shareholder Activism Group, Ele Klein and Marc Weingarten, and included associates Sean Brownridge, Brandon Gold, Danny Goldstein, Mario Kranjac and Abraham Schwartz and law clerks Rachel DiSciullo and Vera Lee.
