Novacap Acquires Dialogic

SRZ advised Tennenbaum Capital Partners LLC, which manages funds with stock in network services company Dialogic Inc., in Dialogic’s sale. Entities affiliated with Novacap TMT IV LP, an investment fund focused on technology, media and telecommunications that is part of Canadian private equity firm Novacap, purchased Dialogic in a deal in which funds managed by Tennenbaum agreed to sell their majority stock and significant debt position. The merger agreement was announced on Oct. 10 and closed on Nov. 24.

The SRZ team representing Tennenbaum Capital Partners LLC in the transaction was led by mergers & acquisitions partner Eleazer Klein and includes environmental partner Howard B.
