Dan Roman focusses his practice on private funds and their managers. He advises investment management clients, from entrepreneurial start-ups to established institutional managers, on the advisory and compliance aspects of UK and cross-border tax matters. Dan’s experience encompasses a broad range of complex tax matters, including designing fund structures, advising on domestic and international management company issues, Brexit-related reorganizations, and deferred compensation arrangements. Dan’s previous experience includes leading KPMG’s hedge fund tax practice in the UK.

Dan graduated from King's College, University of Cambridge, attended the Inns of Court School of Law prior to qualifying as a barrister, and holds an MBA from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD). He is also proficient in Hungarian and Hebrew.
