Michael R. Flynn represents venture funds, strategic investors, private equity firms, asset managers and other investors in their venture and growth investment transactions. Mike advises investors in private companies at all stages of development in the information technology, life sciences, financial services, energy/cleantech and telecommunications sectors. He also advises on PIPEs, at-the-market and similar financings for publicly-listed companies. Additionally, Mike represents startups and growth-stage companies in a full range of financial and strategic transactions, including debt and equity financings, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, licensing arrangements and other complex commercial matters.
Mike has been recognized as a leader in his field by Chambers USA and New York Metro Super Lawyers. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from The University of Texas at Austin.
