Schulte Advises Cerberus in Acquisition of Closure Systems from Reynolds Group

Schulte represented Cerberus Capital Management LP in a definitive agreement to acquire businesses of Closure Systems International (“CSI”) from Reynolds Group Holdings Limited. The acquisition includes the North American, Costa Rican and Japanese businesses and related facilities of CSI, a global leader in closure design, manufacturing, and high-speed application systems. The deal was announced Oct. 14, 2019 and is expected to close over the next two quarters.
The Schulte team advising Cerberus is led by M&A and securities partner Stuart Freedman and former Schulte lawyer Michael Gilligan.
